⇨ How to view the battery temperature on your Xiaomi

In this new tutorial, you will learn how to view the battery temperature of your xiaomi phone in two ways. In itself, we will show a method that consists in installing a third-party app, and another, using a hidden menu in MIUI.

[Método #1] How to display on screen the battery temperature on a Xiaomi or Redmi

As we said, this method will consist of installing the application Battery temperature. And… why this app? Well, by activating “Start tracking”, this app will will display at all times the current temperature from the status bar

In addition, you will be able to place alerts when the temperature exceeds a limit. This limit can be configured within the app from Settings ⏩ Warning temperature

Remember that the temperature should NOT reach or exceed 40°C for too long, as it could severely affect the service life of the battery of your Xiaomi, Redmi, POCO or any other Android phone by degrading the battery life in your day to day life.

[Método #2] How to see the battery temperature of my Xiaomi, without installing any app!

In this case you would make use of the cIT menu o Menu Hardware Testthen, you would have to access it by dialing the number *#*#6485#*#*#*, or go to Settings ⏩ My Device ⏩ All Specifications, and press quickly “Kernel version” 5 times in a row.

Once inside you will have to go to the option Battery capacity (number 40)the current battery temperature and the current charge percentage are displayed there. In this case the battery temperature is at 28 degrees and the charge level is at 87%.

Conclusion

We stress again, your battery cannot be at 40°C for a long time. Therefore, if your cell phone overheats it is better to turn it off for a few hours or use a fan to dissipate the heat.

These heat buildups, are most noticeable when summer arrives, or when we are playing games or charging the phone at the same time we are using it.

Remember that your phone, has a system which will cause your phone to shut down if it detects that it has risen in temperaturealthough it is never too much to keep it under control with an application like the one we have shown you.

You can also see the charge cycles that your battery currently has, for this you can see the following article, where we explain it in depth (see article)
