Celeste

PC (Steam, Epic Games), PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch

Celestial Pride Day Games

With a 2D pixel aesthetic, accompanied by more elaborate drawings for the map or character dialogue scenes, and an equally fantastic soundtrack, Celeste was undoubtedly one of the biggest surprises of recent years, taking the title of Best Independent Title at the 2018 Game Awards.

Face hundreds of platforming and wit challenges, and help Madeline survive the demons within her on her journey to the top of Celeste Mountain; a tightly crafted platformer designed by the creators of the multiplayer classic TowerFall.

And it is that even though the game has not really finished expressing this fact, the protagonist of this game, is a trans woman. A statement shared by the creator of the game herself has talked about how Celeste’s story is as much about self-acceptance of Madeline’s gender identity as it is about her own.

Pride Day Unpacking Games

While moving is usually not to anyone’s liking, particularly because of having the laborious task of cataloging, storing (and often throwing away) all sorts of personal items in these impersonal boxes, we will always count on the good side of reopening them, rediscovering our precious memories and reorganizing our lives.

A premise that has been expressed to perfection in Unpacking, developed by the Witch Beam studio, with a title so carefully crafted that it has earned the adoration and praise of both critics and players.

Hades

PC (Steam, Epic Games), Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S

Hades Pride Day Games

Known for its great impact within roguelite, accumulating major awards such as BAFTA and Game Awards for its art design, narrative, and the very quality of the title itself, making combined use of the best aspects of Supergiant’s acclaimed previous titles, such as the fast-paced action of Bastion, the atmosphere and depth of Transistor and the character-centric narrative of Pyre.

However, being an extra that we can accidentally skip if we focus more on exploration and combat than on the story, what many do not know is that the protagonist of this adventure, Zagreo, has several romantic interests with some of the secondary characters. In addition to strengthening ties, if we delve into the history of the son of Hades we can discover that we find ourselves before a bisexual protagonistthe main character, who can create a route that can choose between two different couples.

The Last of Us Part II

PS4

Pride Day Games The Last of Us 2

After a perilous journey through a post-apocalyptic America, Ellie and Joel settle in Wyoming. Life in a thriving community provides stability, despite the threat of the infected and desperate survivors. After a violent event disturbs the peace, Ellie begins a journey in search of justice. As she hunts down those responsible, she faces the terrible physical and emotional repercussions of her actions.

However, going into greater detail in the story of Ellie herself (and confirming what we could already see in the first DLC of the first installment) this adventure will not focus exclusively on the dark side of the adventure, but will also leave room for a love story, with which finally the young woman will face her feelings for Dinah.

Although for the moment the game is still under the exclusivity of the Sony console, after the recent announcement of the remake of the first installment, it would not be surprising that we will soon see the incorporation of this saga to the titles of the company that are coming to PC through Steam.
