All core web vitals must be met in order to improve SEO

Google has claimed to benefit from it Core Web Vitals As an SEO factor, it will be necessary to keep the minimum in each and every one of the factors that make up them. Otherwise it will be rated as negative and will not benefit the page position.

In order to fulfill its SEO function, the three points of the Core Web Vitals must be correct.

This was confirmed by John Mueller, Google SEO expert, during one of the live conversations with users when one of the participants asked if it was affecting the SEO of a site that one of the core web vitals was below requirements, but the other both have been configured correctly.

It should be noted that Core Web Vitals can be analyzed through the Google Search Console, with each of the factors displayed in a color between green and red, similar to that of a traffic light. With that in mind, Google uses six tools to measure the following factors: PageSpeed Insights, Chrome UX Report, Search Console, Chrome Dev Tools, Lighthouse, and Web Vitals Extension. For the positioning to be useful, the three points to be measured must be green.

The three points it refers to are those that make up the Core Web Vitals, i.e.:

-LCP: Acronym for Largest Contentful Paint, the speed at which the main content loads completely, which must be less than 2.5 seconds.

-FID: What the first input delay means and that it measures the time it takes for the page to be interactive and that it needs to be less than 100 milliseconds.

-CLS: Cumulative layout shift, which measures the number of times users fail to click due to changes in the position of items while they are loading, which should be less than 0.1 times.

Finally, John Mueller made sure that Google does so in May, when Core Web Vitals officially becomes an SEO positioning factor provides more detailed information on its operation, configuration and maintenance.
