Most of the social networks with corporate accounts make available to these users their own statistics that allow them to better understand the performance of their profile. This is something that happens for example with company Pages on Facebook, with corporate accounts on Instagram or with Pages on LinkedIn, where the owners get information about the type of users who visit them and interact with each of their content, the interactions they generate… and even the most active or most propitious days of the week to publish.
The statistics will allow the user to make decisions to better manage their time
This type of statistics are common in social platforms such as those mentioned, but they are not so common in collaborative or time management products, such as Google Calendar, one of the productivity tools most used by users to organize their day to day in a simple way.
It is a tool that anyone with a Google account can use for free, but you can also purchase a license by paying through Google Workspace (Google’s productivity environment, with access to numerous other tools). Well, from now on, users who use Google Calendar through Workspace -that is, for a fee- will have access to their own statistics on how they organize their time.
Google Calendar has just launched the “Time Insights” section in this regardwhich provides interesting data such as the number of weekly meetings, the time spent in them or how much time is spent working with each of the collaborators with whom meetings are held.
The idea is that with the data from Time Insights, paid Google Calendar users can learn how to better manage their time. It’s information that will be visible only to them – for example, it won’t be shown to their bosses – so they can become aware of how they’re managing their days and take steps to do even better.
The data is sorted temporally and also by types of meetings held. You can filter by people with whom you have held a meeting, to see, for example, with whom you meet more over a certain period of time. To access this information, just click the “More Insights” button in Google Calendar (as long as you have a Google Workspace Business Standard, Business Plus, Enterprise Standard, Enterprise Plus, Enterprise Plus, Education Plus account). In other words, it’s not available to all users.
