Here’s how to create email groups using labels in Gmail

Gmail group contacts

If you need to send the same email to multiple Gmail contacts, you can do so manually by copying and pasting the text or specifying multiple recipients for the email with or without blind copying.

Gmail allows you to group email contacts using labels so that you don’t have to add emails one by one

The process is simple, but if it’s a group of people you write to regularly, or if it’s a very large group of senders, then the easiest way to do this is to create a group. So every time you need to write to these people, all you have to do is add the group name to the recipient bar.

Gmail lets you create as many groups as you want and name each one so you know who you want to send your email to. It reaches everyone registered in this group and you only have to write the e-mail once.

To send email to a group of Gmail contacts, you must first create the group of contacts. These are the steps that need to be taken:

– How to create a group of contacts in Gmail from your computer: The first thing you need to do is open your Gmail account and go straight to the Google Contacts section. Click on “Create Label” in the menu on the left and enter a name to identify the group of contacts: friends, work, marketing, business … whatever you want.

You then have to select the users from the contact list that you want to add with this tag. Once the contacts to be grouped have been identified, all you have to do is go to the top bar and select the label icon which will show the list of labels that have already been created, or the option to create a new label.

Finally, all you have to do is go to the main Gmail screen and create a new email or create a template that has already been created. However, you must enter the name of the label in the recipient (in the “to” bar). In this way, the system sends the e-mail to all addresses in the list.

-Group contacts from cell phones: You can also create these labels for contact groups from your mobile phone. In the top left corner of the Gmail application, denoted by the three horizontal stripes, you’ll see the options menu, where you’ll find the “Labels” option.

There you can create the custom label, go back to the contact list and choose the contacts you want to add by pressing and holding each one for a few seconds until it is shaded. You can do it with as many as you want and then you have to press the three vertical dots “add label” in the top right corner and choose or create a new one.
