These data have been published in the Global Digital Trends Report prepared by MeltWater and We Are Social. According to the information that this study – traditionally prepared by Hootsuite – gathers, corresponding to January 2023, the total number of users of social platforms on the planet is more than 4.76 billion people.
This represents 59.4% of the total world population, although the percentage growth is considerably lower than a year ago, when a 10% growth in the number of social network users was recorded. In 2022, the percentage will be 3%. In other words, there is still growth, but much less.
