Meta has developed new uses of facial recognition technology throughout the EU and the United Kingdom, with the aim of identifying and preventing the image of public characters from using crimes such as fraud, scams or impersonation of identity on the Internet.
This new technology will also allow users to verify their identity to recover access to committed accounts of Facebook and Instagram, or to request the review of the restrictive measures applied in certain situations by the different social networks owned by the goal.
How to detect scams easily
In addition to implementing improvements in facial recognition technologies, the company has published a series of tips to detect scams on the Internet. Are the following:
-Autentication in two steps: If you add an additional layer of protection to your accounts with two -step authentication you can protect it from the scammers and stay safe.
-Stestation by selfie. If you activate this possibility, in the event that you lose access to your account, you will have to take a selfie to enter again. This way you will make sure you can only access your profile.
