Earlier this month ViacomCBS Networks International announced the arrival in Spain of Pluto TV, a new online TV content, series and film service that will arrive on October 26th. However, Pluto TV is already available and can be used as TreceBits verified.
PlutoTV will offer more than 50 free channels before the end of the year
PlutoTV lets you watch 40+ free TV channels, plus movies and series that you don’t have to pay for. Of course, you have to support advertising as it is the first AVOD (advertising-based video on demand) platform to reach Spain. From time to time – in accordance with the rules for audiovisual advertising, for example on television – the program is interrupted to show advertisements.
However, watching PlutoTV is free and you don’t even need to provide any personal information or register. All you have to do is go to www.pluto.tv or download the application for Smart TVs, Apple TV, Android TV or Amazon Fire TV.
As you type, you will access an online broadcast screen like the one shown below:
There you can select the live TV broadcast or the on-demand broadcast above. The right side shows the channels and content that the user can watch for free, sorted by topic.
For launch, Pluto TV has 40 channels, although the company has already announced that it will reach 50 before the end of the year and that it will go beyond 100 channels internationally by 2021 thanks to the agreements it has made with several producers of audiovisual content like Shine Endemol and Fremantle among others.
Series like “Andromeda”, “The Wire”, “Freeks and Geeks” and films like “Dreamgirls”, “Alfie” or “While You Sleep” are part of an on-demand catalog with more than 100 titles that you can have fun with can have just click. Although you will have to endure advertising, it is a great way to legally find free and interesting audiovisual content on the internet.
