Openai has launched GPT-4.5, its new AI language model, and with it it is also available the new version of the chatgpt 4.5 conversational chat.
The launch occurs in full career for the development of AI models, after the emergence of Depseek, and is an intermediate point between the launch of GPT-4 and the expected arrival of GPT-5, planned for the end of the year, which will already incorporate the “chains of thought”, which will add to the conversational chatbots capable of reasoning for themselves.
But while this latest version arrives, Openai takes a qualitative leap in this technology by launching GPT-4.5, which is not a “transition model” ceases to suppose an important advance with more than interesting additions. According to Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAi, “it is the first time that AI speaks in a human way.”
This is the most advanced language model that OpenAI has launched to date and is now available for all users signed to the Pro of Chatgpt version (who pay 200 dollars per month for the service) although the company has announced that it will reach the rest of the Chatgpt Plus and Team payment plans, in the coming weeks.
Among its improvements, there is the possibility of interacting with humans more natural and spontaneously. It also improves response time when facing logical problems and is able to solve more complex challenges in scientific areas or during computer systems programming.
Another of the most important novelties is the incorporation of emotional intelligence, which allows it, for example, to detect the mood of the interlocutor and suggest a calmer response if it was angry.
Non-supervised learning of GPT-4.5 has also been improved, which increases the precision in the answers and allows them to be safer, with less possibility of errors.
On the other hand, the conversational chat uses “intuition” to determine what the user needs, also taking into account past interactions. This new way of relating to the interlocutor is a quality leap.
