Disney+ Series

The mouse giant’s streaming platform has a year ahead of it loaded with interesting film releases, some of which will first hit the big screens in theaters and a few months later will already be available on Disney+.

Marvel Universe, Indiana Jones, witches, haunted mansions, Pixar animation… 2023 arrives full of interesting proposals in Disney+.

Others, on the other hand, will arrive directly on the Disney+ streaming platform, where the company’s various “creative realms” converge: Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm,…

-“Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.“: Film directed by Peyton Reed (responsible for the two previous Ant-Man installments) inaugurates Phase 5 of the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) with the main characters traveling to the Quantum World where they will meet Kang, the villain of this new Phase who already appeared in the series “Loki“.

-“The return of the witches 2“: After decades in hiding after being defeated in the first cinematic installment, these three witches return with the intention of achieving their terrible revenge.

-“Elements“: Playing with Fire, Earth, Water and Air, this Pixar animation production tells the love story between Candela and Nile, inhabitants of Element City.

-“Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 3“: With end-of-cycle airs James Gunn (recently appointed co-president of DC Studios, so it will be complicated to see him direct MCU movies again) offers the closing of a trilogy about the peculiar band of galactic characters.

-“Indiana Jones and the dial of destiny“: It will be released in theaters on June 3 and months later will be available in streaming through Disney+ this fifth installment of the adventures of the most famous archaeologist of the big screen. -“Haunted mansion“: Jamie Lee Curtis stars in this film inspired by the popular Disney theme park attraction that gives the film its title in which a mother and her son turn to experts in the world of the supernatural to rid themselves of some pesky tenants of the Afterlife with whom they live.

– “Peter Pan and Wendy”: With Alexander Molony and Ever Anderson playing the lead characters and Jude Law as Captain Hook it involves a return to Neverland and the secret of the rivalry between Peter Pan and Hook will be revealed.

-“The Marvels“: Adventure directed by Nia DaCosta and starring three of the MCU’s most powerful women – Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel (Brie Larson), Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) and Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel (Iman Vellani).

-“Wish“: Another animated film in which we will see the life journey of young Asha, inhabitant of Rosas, the kingdom of desires, and how through her ingenuity she cares for her community.
