Citroën ë-C3

Since 2021, the Citroën C3 is not in the TOP 10 best-selling cars in Spain. The French brand wants to remedy this and has decided to put on sale a completely electrified model with a very different design from the current combustion model. This version has been named Citroën ë-C3 and enters the SUV sector.

Its price will start at 23,800 euros with the entry level of finish. The engine it equips offers a power of 113 HP that is provided by a 44 kWh battery. The autonomy declared by the manufacturer is around 320 kilometers, something that will position it as a utility vehicle worth highlighting for those daily trips around the city.

Its equipment includes LED headlights, an emergency braking system, a traffic sign detector and compatibility with the latest version of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay that you can control from the central touch screen that exceeds 10 inches.

Renault 5 E-Tech

The big surprise for this year 2024 has been given by another French brand with the return of one of the icons of the motor world from the 80s-90s. This is the return of the legendary Renault 5. This time converted into a modern car, both outside and inside. And the French firm has presented the Renault 5 E-Tech.

This new model, which measures just under 4 meters long, is located between the Renault Clio and the Renault Zoe. Likewise, this Ranult 5 E-Tech will have up to 3 engines: 95 HP, 120 HP and 150 HP. These figures are given by a 40 kWh battery in the first motorization and a 52 kWh battery in the remaining two motorizations. While the entry model will achieve a range of around 300 kilometers, the two most powerful variants of the Renault 5 E-Tech would achieve up to 400 kilometers on a single charge.

As a teaser, the new electrified Renault model will have a completely renovated and spacious interior, with a modern dashboard featuring two screens where you can consult all the data during the journey. Of course, the Renault 5 E-Tech will be compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, in addition to integrating a personal assistant that they have named ‘Reno’.

This Renault 5 E-Tech is expected in the markets for the last quarter of 2024 and its price will be around 25,000 euros.

Dacia Spring

Renault’s sister brand, Dacia, also has a completely electric model prepared for this year 2024: Dacia Spring. Although it is not a new model, since it went on sale in 2021, it is true that it will come completely renewed.

This Dacia Spring is a city car. And its measurements give it away: 3.73 meters long. Likewise, it will have two engines: 45 and 65 HP, both achieving a maximum speed of 125 km/h. As for the autonomy that both versions will have, the less powerful one will reach a range of 230 kilometers; The most powerful version will be 220 kilometers. Of course, both models share the used battery: it has a capacity of 26.8 kWh.

The Dacia Spring is a utility vehicle for people who make short trips on a daily basis – not exceeding 40 kilometers a day – in order to avoid having to charge its battery daily and only have to do so – in the best of cases – once a week.

Xiaomi SU7

You are probably used to associating the name Xiaomi with a multitude of devices, both in consumer electronics and small appliances or accessories for everyday life. And the Asian company did not want to be left behind in the motor sector and has presented its first 100% electric car under the name: Xiaomi SU7.

This car, with a sporty cut, aims high. And it wants to confront the premium brands in the sector. There will be two models to choose from: Xiaomi SU7 and Xiaomi SU7 Max. The first of them, with a power of 299 HP, with a 736 kWh battery, will offer a range of up to 668 kilometers on a single charge. Meanwhile, the most powerful model, SU7 Max, will have a power of 673 HP and will be equipped with a 101 kWh battery that will offer a range of up to 800 kilometers. What’s more, Xiaomi explains that there is enough room to include a battery of up to 150 kWh that would offer a range of 1,200 kilometers.

The Xiaomi SU7 will be controlled by the brand’s latest operating system known as HyperOS and which can already be enjoyed on the latest smartphones and wearables presented during the MWC 2024 celebration. The bad news? There is no set price for this electric car. And, for the moment, its sale will be exclusive to the Chinese market.

Polestar 4

One of Tesla’s main opponents and of Swedish origin, has already launched its latest model in Spain: the Polestar 4. Polestar, which was Volvo’s sports brand, now flies alone with sports, very striking and completely electric models. The latest model to land in Spain is the Polestar 4, a luxury coupe SUV that will have two versions for sale.

The first one, which starts at 65,900 euros, is a single engine that declares a power of 272 HP, while the double engine version has a declared power of 544 HP. Both versions are equipped with a 100 kWh capacity battery that will translate into a total range of 610 kilometers in the least powerful version and 580 kilometers on a single charge in the most powerful version.

The Polestar 4 is a fast car: it does 0-100km/h in just 3.8 seconds. But even though it has a sporty feel, this vehicle can be used on a daily basis without problems: it has a spacious interior for the whole family – something very typical for SUVs – and is also well equipped with all the current technologies. Of course, you can use your smartphone in the cabin of the Polestar 4 along with Android Auto or wireless Apple CarPlay. The first units of this model from the Swedish brand will be delivered in August of this year 2024.

Porsche Macan

The German Porsche knows that sales of its electric Porsche Taycan were well received by the public. It was a risky bet, but necessary for a sector that has to change, no matter what, due to environmental demands.

And since the bet paid off, the second vehicle that will appear completely electric is the Porsche Macan SUV. This vehicle, which has been a best-seller for the brand, will come in two versions: Macan 4 and Macan Turbo. The first of them will have a power of 408 HP and a range of 613 kilometers; The second version, and as its name indicates, will be the most powerful with a total power of 639 HP and autonomy that will reach 591 kilometers on a single charge.

Porsche’s commitment with its electric Macan is intended for a user who wants a car to use daily and who does not want to leave aside the benefits of the German brand. Inside you will find more space than previous models, as well as good cargo capacity with a double trunk. The rear trunk has a capacity of 540 liters, while under the hood you will have a small space with 84 liters of capacity to carry, for example, shopping or small travel suitcases.

Both versions are already accepting reservations in Spain and the first units will be delivered in the last quarter of 2024 with the following prices:
