the best graphics cards for less than 350 euros

Little by little the PC market has stabilized, and this is certainly a good time to share with you a guide dedicated to selecting the best graphics cards of the moment. In order for this guide to have the widest possible scope, I have decided to focus on the price range between 150 and 350 euroswhich seems to me to be quite reasonable and within the reach of most of our readers.

The basis from which I have started to choose each of those graphics cards that are placed as the best in this guide. was not just raw performance, I have also valued other things such as the efficiencyimportant because it influences the ability to maintain the power supply when upgrading a PC, the ray tracing performance y other valuable technologies that improve performance or fluidity.

Next to each of the best graphics cards chosen you will find. a summary of their specifications, as well as a performance description what you can expect from it, both in rasterization and ray tracing, and a summary with its positives and negatives. If you have any doubt when you finish reading the guide you can leave it in the comments and I will help you to solve it. Without further ado, let’s start.

Best graphics cards for less than 250 euros.

1.-Radeon RX 6600 with 8 GB of graphics memory for 199.90 euros.

radeon rx 6600

This is one of the best graphics cards if we talk about. price-performance value, and on top of that it comes with Resident Evil 4 Remake for free, which means that its real price would be even lower if we discount the savings we get by taking that game.

Radeon RX 6600 Specifications

  • Navi 23 XL core in 7 nm.
  • RDNA 2 architecture.
  • 1,792 shaders at 2,044 MHz-2,491 MHz, normal and turbo mode.
  • 112 texturing units.
  • 64 raster units.
  • 28 units for accelerating ray tracing.
  • 128-bit bus.
  • 32 MB infinite cache.
  • 8 GB of GDDR6 at 14 GHz.
  • FP32 power: 8.92 TFLOPs.
  • 132 watt TBP.
  • Requires 450 watt power supply and 8-pin power connector.

What performance can we expect

The Radeon RX 6600 will offer excellent 1080p performance and will be very competent at 1440p in most cases.

Generally speaking its raw power in games is. on par with a GeForce RTX 2060 Super, approximately, although in ray tracing it is heavily penalized, so we should forget about this technology in most cases.

Its 8 GB of graphics memory will be sufficient for play with all the guarantees in 1080p, which is its ideal resolution.. It supports FSR2, a rescaling technology that significantly improves performance and does a good job if we do not go below the “quality” setting.

Positives

  • 1080p performance.
  • Low power consumption.
  • Economical.
  • Excellent price-performance value.
  • Resident Evil 4 Remake for free.
  • 8-pin power connector only.

Negative things.

  • It loses a lot at 1440p.
  • Ray tracing performance.
  • FSR2 is not up to par with DLSS2.

2.-Radeon RX 6650 XT with 8 GB of graphics memory for 249.90 euros.

radeon rx 6650 xt

The Radeon RX 6650 XT represents a substantial performance improvement over its predecessor, and the price increase is perfectly balanced in that regard, as. we’re gaining almost 20% performance for 25% more in price.. It also comes with Resident Evil 4 Remake for free.

Radeon RX 6650 XT Specifications

  • Navi 23 core in 7 nm.
  • RDNA 2 architecture.
  • 2,048 shaders at 2,055 MHz-2,635 MHz, normal and turbo mode.

  • 32 MB infinite cache.
  • 8 GB of GDDR6 at 17.5 GHz.
  • Power at FP32: 10.79 TFLOPs.
  • 176 watt TBP.
  • Requires a 500 watt power supply and an 8 pin power connector.

What performance can we expect

With this graphics card we’ll be fine in 1080pand we’ll be able to play very well at 1440p in most cases. Its performance in rasterization is very good for what it costs, and in terms of raw power it would be more or less at the level of a GeForce RTX 2070 Super, and it beats the GeForce RTX 3060 in rasterization although it loses in ray tracing.

However, it also suffers from. a very large penalty when activating ray tracing. We can compensate better than in the previous model thanks to its higher power and FSR2, but it is not recommended to activate ray tracing with this graphics card except in very specific cases, and always when we move in 1080.

It has 8 GB of graphics memory, an optimal amount for 1080p and more than enough to play in 1440p to almost everything with maximum quality, except for specific cases of poorly optimized games.

Positive things

  • 1080p performance.
  • Power in rasterization.
  • Good price-performance value.
  • Resident Evil 4 Remake for free.
  • 8-pin power connector only.
  • Holds better at 1440p.
  • Does not require a large power supply.

Negative things

  • Ray tracing performance.
  • FSR2 is not up to par with DLSS2.

Best graphics cards for less than 350 euros.

1.-Intel Arc A750 with 8 GB for 262.90 euros.

Intel Arc A750

Now that it has come down so much in price this graphics card is an option to take very much into consideration, as it offers a excellent performance at 1440pIt can even handle many 4K games and has a fairly advanced architecture that includes specialized hardware for ray tracing and AI.

Intel Arc A750 Specifications

  • ACM-G10 core in 6 nm.
  • Intel Xe architecture.
  • 3,584 shaders at 2,050 MHz-2,400 MHz, normal and turbo mode.
  • 28 cores for accelerating ray tracing.
  • 224 texturing units.
  • 448 cores to accelerate AI.
  • 112 raster units.
  • 256-bit bus.
  • 16 MB of L2 cache.
  • 8 GB of GDDR6 at 16 GHz.
  • Power at FP32: 17.20 TFLOPs.
  • 225 watts TDP.
  • Needs 550 watt power supply, one 8-pin power connector and one 6-pin power connector.

What performance can we expect

In rasterization, it is between 10% and 15% slower than the Radeon RX 6650 XT at 1080p, but at 1440p the difference is greatly reduced. and both offer almost identical performance, which only confirms what I have told you before, that the Radeon RX 6000 has a huge dependency on L3 cache.

The Intel Arc A750 performs better than the Radeon RX 6650 XT with ray tracing, has its own intelligent rescaling technology, the Intel XeSS, and holds up much better to resolution scaling thanks to its memory bus and lower cache dependency. In 4K this Intel option beats the Radeon RX 6650 XT by 10%.

Its 8 GB of graphics memory is enough for play smoothly in 1080p and 1440p.. For power, it is not a graphics card recommended for 4K, although it can perform quite well in many titles by adjusting the quality level a little.

Positive things

  • Performance in 1080p and 1440p.
  • Holds up well to resolution jumps, doesn’t sag.
  • Power in rasterization.
  • Superior ray tracing performance over equivalent Radeon RX 6000.

Negatives

  • Lack of maturity at the driver level.
  • Intel XeSS needs to improve, especially in implementation rate.
  • Consumption and efficiency.

2.-Radeon RX 7600 with 8 GB for 299.90 euros.

radeon rx 7600

A graphics card that we had the opportunity to review, and that at the time stood out for its excellent price-performance value. Still one of the best options on the market for 1080p gaming.although with the latest price drop that the Radeon RX 6650 XT has received, this one offers a better value in terms of power per euro invested.

Radeon RX 7600 Specifications

  • Navi 33 GPU on 6 nm and 13.3 billion transistors.
  • RDNA3 architecture.
  • 32 computing units.
  • 2,048 shaders at 2,250 MHz-2,655 MHz.
  • 128 texturing units.
  • 64 raster units.
  • 32 second-generation ray-tracing acceleration cores.
  • 64 cores for AI.
  • 128-bit bus.
  • 8 GB of GDDR6 memory at 18 GHz.
  • Power at FP32: 21.5 TFLOPs.
  • 32 MB of infinite cache.
  • 165 watts TBP.
  • Requires a 500 watt power supply and an additional 8-pin power connector.

What performance can we expect

The Radeon RX 7600 performs beautifully at 1080p. That is the resolution at which it feels most comfortable, and should be our target resolution if we decide to buy it. However, it fares well at 1440p, although it is penalized by its dependence on L3 cache.

At 1080p it is about 5% more powerful than the Radeon RX 6650 XT, though as we increase the resolution the differences narrow between the two. Its raw power in rasterization under 1080p is. similar to that of a GeForce RTX 2080, but performs much worse in ray tracing.

Maintains the classic 8 GB that is almost a standard in these price ranges, and as I said you have nothing to worry about, as they will be more than enough for 1080p, and also for 1440p except for very specific cases of poorly optimized games, where it will be enough to slightly reduce the textures or the amount of memory reserved for these.

Positives

  • 1080p performance.
  • Doesn’t perform poorly at 1440p, although it loses punch.
  • Power in rasterization.
  • Good return per euro invested.
  • Resident Evil 4 Remake for free.
  • 8-pin power connector only.

Negative things.

  • Ray tracing performance.
  • FSR2 is not up to par with DLSS2.

3.-GeForce RTX 4060 with 8 GB for 334.90 euros.

geforce rtx 4060

One of NVIDIA’s most important launches for what it means for the mid-range, and another graphics card that we had the opportunity to review recently. It performs very well at 1080p and is perfectly viable for 1440p gaming. Despite all the criticism it has received it is clear to me that it is one of the best graphics cards in its price range.

GeForce RTX 4060 specs.

  • 5nm AD107 graphics core.
  • 3,072 shaders at 2.46 GHz-2,505 MHz, normal and turbo mode.
  • 96 texturing units.
  • 48 raster units.
  • 96 fourth generation tensor cores.
  • 24 third-generation RT cores.
  • 128-bit memory bus.
  • 8 GB of GDDR6 at 17 GHz.
  • 15.11 TFLOPs of power at FP32.
  • 24 MB of L2 cache.
  • 115 watt TGP.
  • Requires additional 8-pin power connector and 450 watt supply.

What performance can we expect

The GeForce RTX 4060 is 7% more powerful than the Radeon RX 7600 in rasterization under 1080p resolution, and outperforms it also at 1440p by about 5% on average. It performs much better than this in ray tracing. (it outperforms it by 40% at 1080p and 59% at 1440p), and in raw power it is only 10% slower than a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti (1080p, average value).

Due to the reduced memory bus, and its reliance on L2 cache, it loses performance at 1440p, but holds the type better than the Radeon RX 7600, and. has DLSS 2 and DLSS 3 in its favor.two technologies that greatly improve the frame rate per second.

This graphics card has 8 GB of graphics memory, a figure that is more than enough to play optimally in 1080p, and that will also allow us to play without problems in 1440p, except in very specific cases as I have already mentioned above. (poorly optimized and broken games, mainly).

Positive things

  • Sobering in 1080p.
  • Good performance at 1440p.
  • Ray tracing performance.
  • DLSS 2 and DLSS 3.
  • The frame rate generation puts it on par with much more expensive graphics cards.
  • Consumption and efficiency.
  • Does not require a powerful source.

Negative things.

  • Improvement in raw power below expectations.
  • Reduction in graphics memory versus GeForce RTX 3060.

4.-GeForce RTX 3060 Ti with 8 GB for 339.90 euros.

geforce rtx 3060 ti

This model is available at a fantastic price, and is undoubtedly one of the best graphics cards we can find within its price range. It is capable of running games optimally in 1080p and 1440p, and performs well even in 4K.

GeForce RTX 3060 Ti Specifications.

  • GA104 graphics core on 8 nm.
  • 4,864 shaders at 1,410 MHz-1,665 MHz, normal and turbo mode.
  • 152 texturing units.
  • 80 raster units.
  • 152 tensor cores.
  • 38 RT cores.
  • 16.20 TFLOPs of power in FP32.
  • 8 GB of GDDR6 at 14 GHz.
  • 256-bit bus.
  • 4 MB of L2 cache.
  • 200 watt TGP. Requires additional 8-pin power connector and 550 watt power supply.

What performance we can expect

The GeForce RTX 3060 Ti is more powerful than a GeForce RTX 2080 Super in rasterizationThe Radeon RTX 2080 Super offers excellent performance at 1080p, is not penalized at 1440p thanks to its 256-bit bus, and plays in the same league as the Radeon RX 6700 XT, though beats it in ray tracing.

It is less efficient than the GeForce RTX 4060, and does not support DLSS 3, but. in return it offers higher raw power which increases when we raise the resolution. The DLSS 2 is still a great added value, and thanks to it you can move games with total fluidity and ray tracing even in 1440p, without major sacrifices in image quality, which does happen with the FSR2.

It has 8 GB of graphics memory, a figure that, as I said, is still enough to play with all the guarantees in 1080p and 1440p in most cases.. There are some exceptions, but they are usually poorly optimized games that should be the exception and not the general rule. In any case, just by reducing the texture quality level from ultra to high, or pulling DLSS 2, we can solve it.

Positive things

  • Sobering in 1080p.
  • Excellent performance at 1440p.
  • Ray tracing performance.
  • DLSS 2.
  • Gross power.

Negative things.

  • No DLSS 3.
  • Efficiency compared to current generation.
