Google is the most widely used search engine in the world to find information and make important decisions. To improve user protection, Google has a new tool within. developed “My activities on Google” which improves the protection and privacy of search history stored in users’ Google accounts.
These are the tools that Google offers to improve search security and privacy.
“Your Activity” by Google or “Google My Activity” is an application all of them User Browsing Information in Google services such as Maps, Google Play or the search engine itself. “Your activity” also collects all information about the browsing history on the various devices on which the Google account is activated.
With that in mind, it’s possible that multiple people are using one of these devices and don’t want to share their search history with them. To this end, Google has created a new way to protect this history by allowing the user to activate a double check on some devices. When activated, Google will ask for a password or double confirmation to access search history on certain devices.
This isn’t Google’s only search history protection feature. With this in mind, under “Your activity” you also have the option “Automatic deletion»This can be set so that the search history is automatically deleted every 3, 18 or 36 months.
