Farewell this month of April, and as usual at the end of each month, we will once again present you our small summary with some of the most interesting upcoming releases for the next month The heavy April rains seem to have germinated a large number of new titles, with one of the most complete months so far this year.
So, highlighting both big titles and some releases from independent developers, it seems that this month of May will have strategy games as the main protagonistwithout leaving any genre behind, we can find family games, single and multiplayer adventures, and even some very innovative proposals.

Adios Amigos: Galactic Explorers
Opening our list of upcoming releases this month, we find this simple multiplayer game based on real astrophysical laws such as gravity, temperature and atmosphere. Piña with your friends and family or explore this quirky, comic book-style universe on your own.

Wildcat Gun Machine
A frantic dungeon exploration game in which you take on hordes of foul beasts with the help of a succulent arsenal of guns, giant robots and cute kittens. Explore expansive labyrinthine dungeons and liberate giant mechanical robots from the demonic Elder Gods. Enemy encounters are challenging and designed specifically, not randomly, to provide difficult combat puzzles.

Crowns and Pawns: Kingdom of Deceit
Entering as a breath of fresh air among the upcoming releases, we are glad to see that the point and click genre has not yet disappeared, with a modern adventure inspired by classics such as Broken Sword, Monkey Island, Still Life or Syberia,. among others. The game brings the less explored history of Europe to the world of adventurers, in which we will experience the legendary stories of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, as we uncover the evil branch of the KGB, solve riddles, and follow the clues to reveal the secrets of the King who was never crowned.

Continuing the saga of these cooperative games, in this new title we will be trapped right next to our partner in a prison in the kingdom of Castle Rock. Were you betrayed or are you just not that smart? To escape, we will have to collaborate and explore the sinister castle in search of riddles. Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising

An action and city-building RPG set in the same world as Eiyuden Chronicle. It weaves together the pre-war stories of various characters who gradually become your companions in Eiyuden Chronicle.
Songs of Conquest
Adding to the large number of turn-based strategy games among this month’s upcoming releases, this game inspired by classics of the 90’s stands out, merging RPG features with armed conflicts and the management of a kingdom. Gather immense legions, conjure archaic spells and conquer remote lands to create an empire that bards will sing about for centuries.
Salt and Sacrifice
One of the proposals that have caught my attention on a personal level within the upcoming releases this month, is the new installment of the creators of Salt and Sanctuary, which comes with a new action game halfway between roguelite and Souls. As a marked inquisitor, we will travel the western frontier chasing, hunting and annihilating the wizards that roam the kingdom, while improving our character by crafting all sorts of new weapons and unique armor made from the flesh and bones of our enemies.

Brigandine The Legend of Runersia
After its passage through the Nintendo handheld console, now this strategy game will allow us to enter again in the continent of Runersia to meet its six great powers, with more than 40 bases, 100 knights and 50 different types of monsters. Select a ruler, organize knights and monsters into troops and conquer enemy bases. And is that the style of play will depend entirely on ourselves and our decisions. Another upcoming release that fans of the roguelite genre will no doubt love comes to us with this dark side-scrolling action title that takes place in the twisted world of Lovecraft-esque Tierra Marga, complete with procedural generation and constantly learning AI. Take on the role of a new acolyte embarking on a nightmarish odyssey. Discover the cosmic secrets of Tierra Marga and Torre de la Locura, the mysterious citadel of the moon.

A character-based tactical strategy game that places you in the middle of a spiritual and pragmatic war for survival. Play as one of nine commanding officers from one of three factions (Machines, Humans or Aliens) and harness your faction’s unique powers and abilities to slowly expand your control over this alien world.
Achilles: Legends Untold
Mixing elements of dungeon crawlers, RPGs and Souls action, we will take part in the journey of Achilles, who found himself in the middle of the centuries-old conflict between the gods Hades and Ares. Sent to fight against the child of the gods of war, Phobos, this journey will take us through the nooks and crannies of these mythological lands to obtain artifacts and weapons that will help us in our mission.
Flippin Kaktus
A 2D revenge-action title with retro-inspired graphics and a 1980s atmosphere, featuring a curious hero with a “prickly” personality, a “prickly” past and a fighting style full of “angry outbursts”.
The Centennial Case: A Shijima Story

Being perhaps the newest title in this list of upcoming releases, Square Enix presents this mystery adventure developed by Koichiro Ito (Metal Gear Solid V) as director, and Yasuhito Tachibana (Netflix’s The Naked Director), as director of photography and story director. And this game presents a captivating gameplay that combines fascinating real images with puzzles to be solved.
You must examine a series of murders committed over the course of a century. The four murders have taken place in three different eras: 1922, 1972 and 2022. Each episode consists of three phases (incident, deduction and solution) that invite you to plunge into this world of mystery. Explore the different eras, gather clues and solve a century-old case.

Evil Dead: The Game
