What is SkyShowTime and how to sign up for it

Skyshowtime platform

SkyShowTime is a new streaming audiovisual content platform that already has a launch date and price in Spain. It is already available in more than 20 European countries.

SkyShowTime arrives next February 28, 2023.

It is a joint platform between Paramount and NBCUniversal, which comes at an ideal time, after the stampede of users that Netflix has experienced by preventing account sharing.

The arrival date is February 28, 2023. From that date, whoever wants it, will be able to subscribe to the service, which will cost €5.99 per month. The good news is that those who sign up during the initial period will be able to benefit from a lifetime discount of 50% off the normal fee.

This means that, if in the future, instead of 5.99 euros, SkyShowTime will cost 8 euros per month, people who have contracted the service in the initial period and have not unsubscribed, will have to pay only 4 euros.

It should be noted that SkyShowTime has not established – for the moment – until when this initial period will last. For the time being, they have only indicated the start date of broadcasts in Spain.

What content can be viewed on SkyShowTime?

Being a platform owned by two of the world’s largest studios, many exclusive contents -movies, series, documentaries, children’s programs…- from labels such as Universal Pictures, Nickelodeon, DreamWorks Animation, Showtime, Sky Studios, Paramount Pictures and Peacock will be available on the platform.

Some interesting titles that will be available from the launch are the new seasons of series such as “Halo” and “Law and Order”, movies such as “Jurassic Park”, “Mission Impossible”, “Back to the Future” “Forrest Gump”, “Yellowstone” and “Star Trek: Strange New Worlds”… and a few days after the launch, on Friday, March 3, the Spanish fiction “Bosé”, a series of the platform’s own, will arrive.

Of course, the works that disappeared from the HBO Max catalog will also have new shelter on this platform, including Foodie Love, Todo lo Otro, or Sin Novedad. A few days after its launch, on Friday, March 3, Spanish fictions of its own label will arrive: Bosé, a biopic about Miguel Bosé; and Los Enviados.
