XAI, the artificial intelligence company owned by Elon Musk, has presented its Latest Artificial Intelligence Model, Grok 3which brings important news for Grok apps and for the web.
This is the company’s response to AI models such as Google Gemini and Openai GPT-4o and has the ability to analyze images and answer questions. According to Elon Musk, Grok 3 has 10 times greater capacity for analysis and data computer than its predecessor, Grok 2.
“It is an AI that seeks the truth, although sometimes the truth clashes with what is politically correct,” says the manager, who has recognized that his AI will remain out of political positions and that it is “so intelligent that he scares” .
It has several models, such as Grok 3 Miniwhich allows you to answer questions more quickly although they may not be so precise. Grok 3 Reasoning and Grok 3 Mini Reasoning has also presented, which can “think and make decisions” about complex problems, applying the results before giving an answer, as is the case with O3 MINI models of OpenAi or with Deepseek R1.
All its functions can be used from the Grok app and allow to respond to complex mathematical and scientific issues. One of them is called “Deepsearch”, which tracks the Internet and the social network X to analyze the information and offer abstract answers.
These and all other functionalities and families of Grok 3 are at the moment in the beta phase and will be implemented in the coming weeks.
To train this AI, the company has used a huge data center located in Memphis that has more than 200,000 GPU. It had to have been launched in the late 2024, but after a couple of months late, Grok 3 is already a reality. Many of its functionalities will be integrated into the social network X, where users can use it, although they will not be included.
They will be the subscribers of X Premium the first to have access to Grok 3, while the company will also launch a new plan called «Supergrok», which will cost $ 30 per month or $ 300 a year, and that will allow you to use tools such as questions of Deepsearch or unlimited generation of images.
Elon Musk has promised that in a few weeks Grok 3 models will also be available in the XAI API, and that a “voice” mode that will interact with AI will also be launched.
In the same way, he also pointed out that in the coming months, when Grok 3 is in its final version, XAI will offer the open source of Grok 2 so that developers around the world can create their own applications from it.
